Do you judge what others eat?

Do you ever find yourself thinking about or commenting on what or how much another person is eating?

If so, it could time to think about your relationship with food because the chances are that if you are judging others, you are judging yourself.

Creating restrictions or rules for yourself around food, feeling bad for eating certain things or amounts are not healthy behaviours. They place moral value on food which leads to self-criticism and black or white thinking. This spills over in to how you view others.

Diet culture will tell you that you are just being 'healthy' and encouraging others to be so but judging anyone on their food choices only leads to shame and guilt, neither of which are helpful.

It may be time to face these conditioned beliefs and start replacing judgement with curiosity. Trust me, you will feel much more relaxed and less triggered around food when you do.
